How often after a meeting with friends have you tried to decide who owes money to whom?
Should vegetarians pay for everyones meat, and all the rest pay for soy sausages? Or how much do friends owe for a pizza, if one of them ate 3 slices, and all other ate 2 slices each?
If the party was a success, then its unlikely that you will be able to solve it right away. And even if you do, everyone will ask: why should I pay so much money if I did not eat almost anything? Nothing spoils a good party so much, like mutual financial claims.
